The Head Of Buddhist Thero - Mahanayaka Speak To President - Watch Video

The Mahanayake Theros of the Malwathu and Asgiri Chapters of the Siam Sect have approached President Mahinda Rajapaksa to update them about the circumstances in Geneva.

The Mahanayaka Theros had made this appeal in a letter tended to the President.

The letter had been composed by the Chief Prelate of the Asgiri Chapter of the Siam Sect, Most Venerable  Udugama Sri Buddharakkitha Mahanayaka Thero and the Chief Prelate of the Malwathu Chapter of the Siam Sect Most Venerable Thimbattuwawe Sri Sumangala Mahanayaka Thero.

The Mahanayaka Theros noted that choice to present a determination on Sri Lanka before the Human Rights Council in Geneva is an endeavor to force the nation down. They approach the President to illuminate them on the contrast in ideas that exist in the nation with respect to this issue. In their letter the Mahanayaka Theros approach the President to  make the essential courses of action for clergymen G.l. Peiris and Mahinda Samarasinghe to have an exceptional discourse with them on the issue.

The Most Venerable Theros have noted that the 24th or the 26th of this current month might be most perfect for this discourse.
