Anarkali Akarsha (Sinhala: අනර්කලී ආකර්ෂා;born 12 July 1987,as Anarkali Janitha Jayatilaka) is a grant winning Sri Lankan film and teledrama on-screen character, model,singer, TV moderator and a government official. She was delegated Miss Sri Lanka 2004 and spoke to Sri Lanka at the Miss World 2004 excellence show. She has filled in as a brand envoy & a pledge drive. She went to Colombo International School.
Her first open chance to act came when Somaratne Dissanayake and Renuka Balasuriya, who guided and delivered the teledrama Iti Pahan in 1995, were looking for a young lady who was familiar with English. In the show, she performed the part of "Daisy Susan" adjacent to eminent performing artist Vasanthi Chathurani.
After an about seven year break, she came back to acting in 2003 when, at 15, she was thrown in a lead part in Pissu Trible. Hence, she performed in a few effective films, and got praise in teledrama exhibitions with her parts as "Inoka" in Sihinayak Paata Paatin and "Tanya" in Santhuwaranaya.
She is the most youthful performer to date in the historical backdrop of Sri Lankan Cinema to win the most mainstream performing artist honor. She has gone about as the main woman in more than 22 films and 10 teledramas. She likewise acts as a model, brand diplomat and a moderator.
She has showed up in numerous music features. Some of her celebrated music features are "Meedum selen" by Bathiya and Santhush, "Jeththu none" by Dushanth Weeraman and "Siththamak wage" by Yashan.
