Previous Minister and NFF Leader Wimal Weerawansa's wife Shashi Weerawansa has been captured by Police a short while prior, Police Media Spokesman SSP Ajith Rohana affirmed.
Shashi Weerawansa has been captured at the Neville Fernando Private Hospital in Malabe.
She had conceded herself to the private doctor's facility after the capture warrant was issued.
She has been captured over the charges of acquiring a political identification in an illicit way, in the wake of giving produced reports.
Sashi Weerawansa is charged to have acquired discretionary and general international IDs by submitting conception endorsement with manufactured names and dates of conception. She had petitioned a discretionary travel permit in 2010 by submitting false individual data which was diverse to what shows up in her past ordinary international ID that lapsed on May 24, 2009.
