Anarkali Akarsha born 12 July 1987,as Anarkali Janitha Jayatilaka is a grant winning Sri Lankan film and teledrama performing artist, model,singer, TV moderator and a government official. She was delegated Miss Sri Lanka 2004 and spoke to Sri Lanka at the Miss World 2004 excellence show. She has functioned as a brand envoy & a pledge drive. She went to Colombo International School.

Her first open chance to act came when Somaratne Dissanayake and Renuka Balasuriya, who coordinated and created the teledrama Iti Pahan in 1995, were looking for a young lady who was familiar with English. In the dramatization, she performed the part of "Daisy Susan" next to eminent on-screen character Vasanthi Chathurani.


After an almost seven year rest, she came back to acting in 2003 when, at 15, she was thrown in a lead part in Pissu Trible. Consequently, she performed in a few fruitful films, and got approval in teledrama exhibitions with her parts as "Inoka" in Sihinayak Paata Paatin and "Tanya" in Santhuwaranaya.
