A strikingly felicitous twit persisted through 18 hours covered under a mudslide in Guatemala before rescuers discovered the upset pooch.
Torrential downpours and mudslides have murdered about 50 individuals this week in the Central American republic, however one canine in the northwestern town of Joya Grand survived the characteristic fiasco.
Nicknamed el Afortunado, "The Lucky One," he held woofing while caught under a few feet of mud and garbage.
Rescuer Jose Guerdola heard the pooch's sad wails and hurried to the spot.
